Why do a lot of people dislike Jews? I have found all the ones, I have known to be wonderful people.?

The jews have been good at lending money. Many banks are owned by jewish people. Before WWII, many banks in Germany were owned and operated by jews. Hitler blamed the jewish people for the poverty in Germany because of this, and vowed to rid the country of them. Today many banks in the world are run by jews. Many people hate them because of this, even though the majority of jewish people have never wronged anyone.
As for being God's chosen people, their birthrite was taken from them when they rejected and crucified Christ and was given to the rest of the world for anyone who would believe in Christ. They are no different from you or I.

I think they're great people and they are Jews who have turned to the lord Jesus Christ as a personal Savior and, of course, in the Old Testament, He is called Messiah, so they have the label of Messianic because they are looking for the coming of Messiah in the very near future. And that's what I’ve been talking about. This ridiculous thing called replacement theology where God is through with the Jews forever. That's not so.

The bible teaches in Romans chapters 9 to 11 the Jews past, chapter 9, the Jews present, chapter 10, and the Jews future, chapter 11. And when messiah comes, chapter 11, verse 26 says: “all Israel shall be saved, for there shall come out of Zion, out of Jerusalem a deliverer who shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob”.

Who is Jacob? Jacob changed his name to Israel, 2 Kings 17:34. And when Messiah comes, He opens their blinded eyes and all Judaism, all Israel comes to Jesus Christ. I'm for the messianic Jews.

Jews are Gods chosen people ,they are the most persecuted people in the world , Jesus was a Jew ,so if the devil can get rid of the Jews then there would be no Jesus , There are Jews that have come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ ,but most are still waiting for the messiah .

They are the scapegoats in many countries. Back early in the millenium when there was wide-scale expulsion of the Jews they were dispersed among many countries. They remained in close knit isolated communities within the community at large. Many resented them, especially if made lots of money. They became easy scapegoats for any problems that occured in the region because they were 'the evil foreigners living in our community taking our money'.

I think that is basically the way I understand the history as I've heard it in bits and pieces as I've heard it over time. Might be wrong.

Because in Europe, the Jews were the minority. Their Jews were like our Mexicans...nobody liked 'em. I have Jewish friends too. I personally find little wrong with Jews. It doesn't quite make sense for someone to hate Jews just because Hitler did, when other races are more to blame.

When one considers the current situation, where the Israeli govt refuses a ceasefire that would allow civillians to flee the conflict, and strikes civillian convoys that are trying to escape, and bombs 60 or so women and children dead last night, with no evidence on the ground of any rocket launchers, one can only feel bitterness towards Israels inhumanity.

well i wouldn't say that i dislike all jews but the ones that i have come across are hasidic jews (i believe this is the right spelling). i dislike them because they are always rude to me and they think that they are better than me.

because of the statement. "They are the chosen people". they tend to think or act like it is true when the truth is its just a belief.
people dislikes it because nobody wants to be second best.
