As far a I know, you can try the manual one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax. There is a probability of about 40% of getting rid of the Tinnitus altogether.

As the whole treatment costs about 200 Dollars, it's worth a try, I'd think.

At present, the treatment is available in California and Europe only.

If you'd like additional information, I can try to give you some explanation - I'm simply a really convinced patient and not a practitioner.

BTW: I would be interested to hear about your experience.

I have been living with it for about twenty years. When I get a cold it gets worse, louder and several high pitches at once. The ENT doctor said it could mean I am losing my hearing, but that does not seem to be the case. I sleep with the TV on to drown out the hum in my ears. I have heard Lipoflavanoid advertised for this problem, but I have not had the nerve to try it.

Try ear candles. They rebalance the pressure in the ear and help reduce the symptons. You can find them on the net

Have a good look at your diet.
Cut back on sugar and caffeine for starters.
