I am really sorry if you don't like Christians now. I am a Christian and wouldn't hurt a person for having a differing belief than me. I am called to love everyone, although I don't agree with them. Wicca is something called witchcraft and for Christians it clearly states in the Bible that we are not to hold these practices (witchcraft). But we can still love the people that do. Some people don't want to because they think they can catch whatever you have and then end up practicing Wicca. But true Christians can be friends with anyone, whatever their beliefs, without ever having to give up their Christian walk.

Come into the 21st century. Witch burnings are not quite as common as you would have everyone believe. I don't think that any Christians I know even recognize wiccan as anything but a leftist cult. Wiccans would have the rest of us believe that they are a viable threat to Christianity when in truth they are nothing but a fringe group that Christians would like to see come to Jesus.

Hmm I could additionally't see how you are able to combine Christianity and Wicca into one. the two have very distinctive ideals. If somebody calls themselves Wiccan, yet believes Christ to be their follower, then they won't be able to have self assurance in the existence of extra suitable than one god, for that reason making them no longer Wiccan. the importance of any faith is this is considerable theory...the single element that carry all different styles of this is branches at the same time (i.e believing in Christ is the single element that bonds a Catholic and a Baptist and believing in god and goddess is the main element that bonds a Gardnerian and Alexandrian Wiccan). of direction there are additionally different factors that is in comparison, which includes a theory in an afterlife, yet maximum religions carry the comparable theory. So the place can a Christian bond with a Wiccan? How can somebody have self assurance in Jesus Christ as their savior, yet bypass against their faith and have self assurance in the existence of extra suitable than one god? putting info aside there are people in a Christian branch called Gnostic's, that are the extra open-minded/non secular version of Christianity. Spiritually we proportion some features, yet average our ideals are nevertheless vastly distinctive. and don't confuse Witchcraft with Wicca the two...there are people available who declare to be one faith or have not any faith and practice Witchcraft. that doesn't cause them to Wiccan. So prairie, such as you i won't be in a position of work out how somebody could nicely be the two Wiccan and Christian. "i in my view do no longer see how that ought to happen with out bending one or the different (or the two) so a techniques out of shape that the term "Christian" and/or "Wiccan" could now no longer shop on with to the effect." I agree thoroughly. i'm fascinated although to study the comments of people who disagree with us. sturdy question! merits a famous person! Love and mild-weight, Blessed Be

Because Wiccans believe differently....and ignorance is bliss, so the saying goes. I've yet to find that saying untrue.
Just look at what happened in Seattle yesterday....a Muslim (he's a US citizen!!) decided he was tired of what Israel was doing to Lebanon, so took it upon himself to get revenge by shooting up a Jewish center in a United States city! Your dilemma isn't much different....hate crimes will always happen, over differences of opinion. This is supposed to be the land of "freedom of religion", but it's not always that clear-cut, or free.

amazing...please let me know of a violent attack on a wiccan by a Christian....and please let me know if that was a 'christian' or a 'Christian'...there IS a difference, as a Christian is one who follows the teachings of Christ...and a 'christian' in the eyes of our culture pretty much fits anyone who is not jewish, muslim, wiccan, pagan, or atheist, etc...as for violence FROM pagans, virginia recently executed a pagan for murdering another inmate...he and his pagan buddy (who later committed suicide while on death row) stabbed another pagan dozens of times during a 'pagan religious ceremony' because they didn't think he was taking the pagan religion seriously...does this lead me to conclude that pagans are a bunch of murderous thugs? of course not...my point is that generalizations are oh so easy to make, and so are false assumptions...

Because the pagan roman catholic church wanted pagans and christians to believe the way they do. Inquisitions sound familiar? They murdered heretic people who kept saturday as the sabbath too.

hi,
my opinion is that christians hate wiccans because they believe they are the source of evil, and that they work with the devil.they also have been taught sort of speak to hate anything evil and to try to destroy it.
