Internet relationships can be both good and bad. I joined a couple different dating sites. I've had a couple "nice" dates and I've been through some real losers, too.
You just have to be careful out there. When contacting women, make your choices carefully. Read profiles throughouly! Keep in mind, not everyone is honest and sometimes, you'll have a date and find out they are nothing at all as to who they they have portrayed themselves to be.
Recently, I've met a decent man. We are chatting, talking and just had a first date. He appears to be a "good guy". We are going to continue to go out and see where it goes.
I recommend that if you do find a nice person, date her for quite a while - don't rush into things.
Also, keep the following tips in mind while you are dating . . . meet in public places until you are completely comfortable with her, don't give out too much personal information about yourself right away and keep your guard up.
Both women and men are on these sites and there's a lot of sickos out there. But on the upside, there are some great people, too.
Another tip - have in mind what you are looking for in a relationship. Don't settle for less. You might date several persons before finding that wife! GOOD LUCK!!!!! Hope my answer is helpful to you!

First things first, slow down. If you go into a online dating service looking for a wife you are probably gonna scare off all the women. Take your time and get to know them online. Then gradually bring it to life, casual dating. If you find someone you connect with, great. But don't wanna be marrying every woman in the dting service right away.

I suppose it isn't any more dangerous than any other method. But take the time to fully learn who you are planning to marry. Don't be in such a rush.
