Most land mammals grow hair in the opposite places that humans do. Dolphins, Whales and other sea mammals share similar traits as humans as to where hair grows. It is a theory that Humans came from the ocean. Monkeys dont grow beards, because they were never water mammals. Water makes a mammal evolve into not having hair on most of the body, and having hair where mammals usually dont. If monkeys lived in the water for a few million years, they might lose body hair and grow beards.
