In the bible there are phophisies of armageddon. Where might I find these? Please state your religion too so that I can better understand if there are differences. Thank you.

I am an atheist too by the way....and now see armageddon is just the old.ultimate war of good vs evil...That 'last' war we need to fight to get peace. The war to end all wars.

The battle of Armageddon is a Plague event. Trumpet events follow Seal events followed by Plague events. Seal events have not yet concluded.
At the Sixth Plague the way is PREPARED for the soon coming battle of Armageddon, and the Dragon and the beast and the false prophet, and their armies are gathered together (by Spiritual forces) into "a place" for the battle (Re.16:12-16, Jer 51:36, Jer.51:49, Isa.63:2-3).
After the Seventh, and final, PLAGUE, after the great city Babylon comes into remembrance before God, after the fall of that great city Babylon (Re.16:17-21, Revelation chapter 18), the battle of Armageddon will be fought.
The battle will be fought after the marriage of the Lamb has taken place in heaven. The church of God (1 Cor.10:32) throughout all ages (the wife) has made herself ready (Re.19:17) and are the armies of the Lord that accompanies Him to the battle (Re.19:14).
The end of the battle of Armageddon will mark the beginning of the Millennium.

the armageddon is a fairly new insertion by the catholic church to unite the Christians and get them outta the confusions arising from Different Bibles.
Refer To the Gospel Of Barnabe, Jesus says "that the day of judgement (reckoning) is at hand and close and every human being will be called to account for his actions.
The Quraan also says the same thing,
In Chapter Zilzal versus 6,7 & 8, " on that day shall mankind proceed in bands that they Will be shown thier deeds, Then whosoever has done an atoms worth of good shall see it, (accounted for against him) and whosoever has done an atoms worth of ill shall see it (accounted for against him)
You Christians dont have to worry about accountability cause the church believes that Jesus has already died for your sins, so u can continue committing them cause hes paid for it already.
I am a muslim and the Quraanic account of the armageddon or doomsday is different,
When doomsday arrives there shall be not a single believer in God, and there shall be very sweet melodious music, people will run from thier homes to listen to it, the music will turn so loud that it will deafen people, then it will roar so much that mountains will shatter and fly like corded wool and there starts the day of
reckoning.

im a christian and in the bible the best section to look at is revelation. but you should read it slowly it is made up entirely metaphorically
