the only answer i have ever come up with is the right religion is whatever you decide it to be.
find something that speaks to you, and that is the right religion for you.
do not get caught up in an absolute right religion, or what anyone else thinks, because that will only lead to trouble and heartache. Oh and it doesn't exist.

Ya know, I really don't think that one religion's better than the other. Each religion has different views and facets to it, and often they claim they're the true religion and all others are wrong (Unless a religion was created to directly oppose another, i.e, satanism and christianity, I don't believe any religion is right/wrong). What it all comes down to when choosing a religion is what YOU really believe to right/wrong in this world, and the religion that best follows that should be the one for you.
Explore a bit, turn a few stones over. You'll find religions you've never even heard of. Choose a religion that agrees best with how you feel.
Hope that helps!

The right religion is the one that detaches you from the material world and attaches you to God with love and devotion.
Real religion shows compassion to all living entities.
Real spirituality is not baffling, it is presented in a clearly defined manner that is easy to understand.
The first point of wisdom is that you are not the gross material body, but the spirit soul within the material body, the symptom of which is consciousness, the material body changes and is temporal, but the spirit soul is eternal, eternal means that there is no time which it did not exist and no time which it will cease to be, the soul is part and parcel of the supreme soul or God, both are personal and individual.

The right religion is the one that gives you the most answers... it does not confuse you. It is the one which allows you to question, and the more you question, the more answers it gives. It is the one which most follows your conscience, or which your conscience seems to follow the most. Religion doesn't mean rituals.
Today, if someone could raise enough unanswered questions in my mind, or point out enough mistakes in what I believe, I would probably convert.... but for me, Christianity offers the most answers. No, I wouldn't say Im religious - I dont even go to church every weekend for months at a time... but it answers all my questions about life, the past and the future.
If it suits your conscience, thats a religion.
Yes.. I HAVE serously evaluated and compared christianiyt with muslims and hindus, and Im happy to be me. I don't mean ot offend anyone, but there are too many disparities in following someone with a dozen wives and double standards, and I don't see myself following a guy who sits under a tree and then gives values - even if alot of them are true - -which are already explained in great deal in another religion. I don't know much about jewish -except they have alot of customs and traditions - maybe Im wrong - but I dont know much about them... and going around trying to convert people isnt my style... and i have NO clue about mormons...

That will happen to you - as you pursue your search for the truth for yourself! Dont't get discouraged - be encouraged - because if you are brave enough and truly want the truth and ask God (Jesus Christ - for me) to show you - He will. No one can tell you what is right for you - if you give up and believe them - you'll never be sure and know for yourself! A relationship with God (Jesus Christ - for me) is your very personal responsibility and choice - because it is a question and relationship of the Soul - the deepest and truthest part of you! Stop listening to others and search for yourself - it's the most rewarding journey that you will ever take! Let's just say there is a Heaven and a hell (I believe that there is), and we do stand before God(Jesus Christ - for me), do you really think that I practiced a religion because someone said so is going to cut it! No it won't! The Bible - as well as other religions express the need for self - exploration - no one can give you their opinion and you follow! I had this question all of my life and I found the Truth for me God(Jesus Christ)! I have faith and belief in God (Jesus Christ) - I don't call myself a Christian! Christianity is a religion - God (Jesus Christ) desires a personal relationship with me! While you're on your search for truth - learn the meaning of religion, faith, belief, and relationship - understanding the differences in these words will help you tremendously! It truly is your search for truth - don't settle for the answers of others - that's a cowards way out or in! You will never be truly satisfied with the answers of others regarding a relationship with your Soul! Also learn the difference between soul, mind, and body! Go for it!

There are many religions ...which one will you choose?
how do you make the right choice among the multitude of religious organizations that are stating "This is the way!" ?
Yes it is confusing, but we are told that our life depends on the right choice. It is this very thing that makes me feel unsure of it all, why is it so complicated? For most people the choice is made at birth they are born into it ,than rely on there faith to keep it real. The only thing i can say is do what you conscious tell you to do , for that is it purpose.

What is religion, what is being religious? according to me being religious is to have love in your heart, not to separate yourself from another human being on the basis of color, caste, creed, religion, nation etc. The crux of religion or spirituality is oneness of mankind. However all our organised religions as practised today start with separation, distinguishing one from the other. The moment you say I am a muslim, hindu, christian, jew, a catholic or a protestant you are seaparating yourself from the other who is not of the same religion or sect. The right religion is that religion which does not separate you from another human being and that is the religion of humanity.

There is no one right religion. Different people believe in different things. Everyone picks the one that is right FOR THEM. Those who say they know the truth and that their religion is the right one, are just too narrow minded to try and understand other people.
(If you want to know which religion is closest to your beliefs, you can try the belief-o-matic on beliefnet.com:
http://www.beliefnet.com/story/76/story_7665_1.html
But this, again, will just tell you what religions are close to your own beliefs. Not which one is the one true one).
