18 months is the common time for needing de-wormed again.
Boil 1/2 cup of milk, and skim off the film and discard...You can feed her this milk warm to help stop diarrhea.

Has your dog been getting people food? If so that may be the cause, also check around the house to make sure he hasn't chewed up a toy or sock or something. You should not use pepto bismol in dogs, as it was reformulated a few years ago and now contains asprin. Also the beef and rice diet is a good idea, but we recommed boiling and not frying it, any grease left will only make the problem worse. If your pet starts vomiting, take him to the vet asap.

Kaopectate is given to stop loose stools. Here's a site with the dosage by weight
http://animalsunlimited.net/meds.htm
If you have checked all the things that the others have said to check , then take a stool sample to the vet tomorrow. It could be as simple as worms causing the problem

One way to stop diahhrea in dogs is to feed a mixture of ground beef fried and then drained of any fat with rice. I have used this at the suggestion of my vet and it has done wonders.
Did your dog get into something that it is not suppoesed to a drastic change in diet can definatly cause illness such as this in a dog.
Good luck and I hope your K9 friend is feeling better soon!

Check the food - it may be out-dated or bad and will smell that way. Just give water and no food for about 12 hours and then feed. If no improvement you need to get your dog to vet.

Look for the obvious... is he hot, outside? Is the water fresh? The bowl can contain bacteria that you don't see and will keep attacking his intestines. Wash it out with bleach and rinse real well.
Most important during this time of illness is that he doesn't dehydrate. Have plenty of water for him.
