The kola nut of Africa. Kola was originally added to Coca-cola for its caffine content, however, now artificial flavors have replaced it. The Coca was for the cocaine that Coca-cola used to contain like how Pepsi was named after pepsin even though it did not actually contain pepsin (but maybe you already knew that).
