(Jeremiah 8:8, the NIV Bible,)

"`How can you say, "We [the Jews] are wise, for we have the law of the LORD," when actually the lying pen of the scribes has handled it falsely?'

(Jeremiah 8:8, the RSV Bible)

“The Revised Standard Version makes it even clearer: "How can you say, 'We are wise, and the law of the LORD is with us'? But, behold, the false pen of the scribes has made it into a lie”.

In either translation, we clearly see that the Jews had so much corrupted the Bible with their man-made cultural laws, that they had turned the Bible into a lie!

How can anyone trust a “HEAVENLY FATHER” who se message is:

(Num 31:17)

"Now therefore, kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that has known a man by sleeping with him”.

The New Testament gives you a choice; either you follow Jesus Christ, or the anti-Christ Paul of Tarsus: Each one demands his followers to accept his teachings:

(1 Corinthians 11:1)

Be ye followers of me… that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered [them] to you.

(John 8:31)

“If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed”

FOLLOW JESUS OR FOLLOW THE ANTI-CHRIST PAUL?

How could you have missed the rest of 1 cor 11:1, you wouldn't have done that on purpose would you??? LOL
1Co 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.

I know that it must have been a simple oversight on your part..

Or don't follow, and just help people and then live an ordinary life.

If you want to follow Jesus though, go right ahead, seems like a nice enough life to me.

By the way, atheist all the way!

More hate. Amazing, there is tons of stuff like this in the bible. But remember, this comes from a religion that preaches love.

Whatever. I've spent the past hour defending Islam from attacks by Christians and Jews. We don't really need you giving them reason to continue attacking.

Hate is hate, regardless of where it comes from.

I have no idea what the hell you are trying to say. But, I say follow anything besides Jesus. Personally I worship the 176th pubic hair that I grew. It was a different color and I am pretty sure it is god.

Maybe you should read it in Hebrew? Maybe you should read the writings in the dead sea scrolls? Maybe you should pray and ask for guidance? The truth is you must find the truth in your heart and go from there. You could even start your own religion when you find the truth.

Um... I think I'll choose to follow reality rather than old books that spew hate. Thanks though!
