I need to download free a photo editing software that can help me in editing the backgrounds of my images easily without affecting the foreground of the picture. Forexample, I want to replace the background of any picture with another picture in such a way that the foreground of the edited picture is not affected in anyway, and the background changed as I desire. Thankyou.

you can use adobe photoshop. you can download it using bitlord. after the software is installed, open the pic, the use the magnetic lasso, then press delete. copy the picture that you want to use as a background, then paste it. and move the background if desired.

it is easier said than done... the above answer is the most appropriate... but do u know photo shop? don't backup , go ahead.. after all u are getting every thing free.. experiment and learn.. without failure u can not achieve..

Depending on what kind of pictures they are.
If they are complicated pictures, i recommend you using Photoshop.
If its something basic, try Paint :)
