The penis or phallus is an external male sexual organ. The penis is the male reproductive organ and for mammals additionally serves as the external male organ of urination.

Human penis
The human penis differs from those of some other mammals. It has no baculum, or erectile bone; instead it relies entirely on engorgement with blood to reach its erect state. It cannot be withdrawn into the groin, and is larger than average in the animal kingdom in proportion to body mass.

The human penis is made up of three columns of erectile tissue:

the two corpora cavernosa (singular: corpus cavernosum) and
one corpus spongiosum
The corpus spongiosum lies on the underside (known also as the ventral side) of the penis; the two corpora cavernosa lie next to each other on the upper side (dorsal side).

The end of the corpus spongiosum is enlarged and cone-shaped and forms the glans penis. The glans supports the foreskin or prepuce, a loose fold of skin that in adults can retract to expose the glans. The area on the underside of the penis, where the foreskin is attached, is called the frenum (or frenulum).

The urethra, which is the last part of the urinary tract, traverses the corpus spongiosum and its opening, known as the meatus, lies on the tip of the glans penis. It is both a passage for urine and for the ejaculation of semen. Sperm is produced in the testes and stored in the attached epididymis. During ejaculation, sperm are propelled up the vas deferens, two ducts that pass over and behind the bladder. Fluids are added by the seminal vesicles and the vas deferens turns into the ejaculatory ducts which join the urethra inside the prostate gland. The prostate as well as the bulbourethral glands add further secretions, and the semen is expelled through the penis.

The raphe is the visible ridge between the lateral halves of the penis, found on the ventral or under side of the penis, running from the meatus (opening of the urethra) across the scrotum to the perineum (area between scrotum and anus).

Puberty
When a boy enters puberty, after his testicles begin to grow his penis begins to enlarge, just like the rest of his genitals. The penis grows longer until the age of 18, but growth in width only begins at the age of 13. During the process, pubic hair grows above and around the penis.

Sexual homology
Main article: Sexual homology
In short, this is a known list of sex organs that evolve from the same tissue in a human life.

The glans of the penis is homologous to the clitoral glans, the corpora cavernosa are homologous to the body of the clitoris, the corpus spongiosum is homologous to the vestibular bulbs beneath the labia minora, the scrotum is homologous to the labia minora and labia majora, and the foreskin homologous to the clitoral hood. The raphe does not exist in females, because there the two halves are not connected.

First of all it's spelled penis, not penis. A boy's penis serves three functions: 1) Urine (pee) passes out of the body through the penis, 2) The penis is the organ involved in making babies 3) It is the organ of sexual pleasure. A girl's sex organs perform these same three functions but instead of being in one organ they are divided into three organs about an inch or so apart. Between the legs girls have a slit running up and down. If you open this slit the three organs are inside. From top to bottom they are: 1) The clitoris which looks like a tiny penis about 1 1/2 inches long only the part you can see is only about the size of a pencil eraser. It's purpose is to give the girl pleasure during sex. 2) Below it is a very small hole called the urethra. The girl urinates (pees) through this hole. 3) Near the bottom, only about an inch or so from the anus (a** hole) is an opening called the vagina which is normally so small that you can barely get one or two fingers in but which can stretch to a huge size. The boy inserts his penis in here when he has sex and if the girl becomes pregnant the baby comes out of this opening. In order for the baby to be born the vagina must stretch over 100 times its normal size.
