Dude.......

Let us take a case, for example:-

A 22-year old, with a history of drug abuse, collapses. After being brought to the hospital he is given cpr, shocked five times, given ten different types of drugs and hooked on a respirator, he is declared dead. Five min. later, a nurse comes into his room and finds him alive with a blood pressure of 90/60.
What is this penomenon called?

The Answer is : Lazarus Phenomenon

The word is derived from an incident in Bible, in which Jesus had brought back Lazarus to life after four days of his death.

The Lazarus Phenomenon is the unexpected return of spontaneous circulation (ROSC) after resuscitation has been abandoned. Although no single cause has been identified, there have been several mechanisms of survival postulated for Lazarus phenomenon patients. Hyperkalaemia associated with renal failure can cause cardiac arrest, and in one such case survival has been documented, with appropriate treatment, after 26 minutes of asystole.

In history it had happened to King Louis IX of France in the year 1244, when he unexpectedly sat on his coffin, during his funeral ceremony.
