Praying and seeking the Lord for Provision is the best thing you can do. The Word of God says HE is your provider.

If what you are doing is of the Lord, and not every ministry or church out there is God's idea, then He will give you the ability to carry on financially and spiritually. I am aware of several ministries that are run by men who know they are in the heart of God's will, and He has provided for every financial need they have.

Are the people not tithing or do you have a bloated budget? If your budget is unnecessarily large, pray and ask the Lord to show you what you really need to keep going and what you can cut. If the people are not tithing, (giving 10 percent of their income), have you thought about teaching them God's requirement for tithing and how He promises to bless His people when they bring the full tithe into the 'storehouse'?

I am surprised you came to such a worldly place to get advice about running the house of the Lord. You saw some of the answers you got...those are the people you are asking to give you godly wisdom!

What the hell type of expenditures do you guys have? Shyt, you dont even have to pay taxes! Didn't get that new BMW you've been eyeing as of lately?! Why you asking people on Yahoo Answers anyway? You're the chairman of a church... ask G-d. Doesnt he talk to you? Doesn't he give you guidance and wisdom?

The first thing that comes to my mind is, "God dosn't need our money, He wants our faith." This is a correct thought, but not very practicle.

Yes, pray. But remember to listen to God. James chapter 1 tells us that if a man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who reproves not and it will be given to him. But, let him ask in faith, nothing wavering...the man that doesn't ask in faith will not receive. Ask for wisdom. Ask God why He has not provided the funds you need. Possibly, He wants you to learn to rely on Him more. Possibly, there is something wrong in the church. Perhaps He wants the church to learn to come together in worship and prayer. I don't know the reason, but He promised that if we "seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness" then all the necessities of life will be given. You can never go wrong by seeking God's guidance!

Who ever said that the church should support you? Get a job. Work like real people do and maybe then you will be able to understand more fully their problems and tribulations that they dealwith in the real world.
