Fired for a belly showing? That must be illegal. Another issue however. You should talk to your obgyn because you need to get help while pregnant without harming the baby. This does happen. I have not been pregnant, but understand this can be a problem during pregnancy. I do understand medications can be dangerous in pregnacy.

You got fired because your belly was showing?? I don't know where you were working but that sounds like discrimination!! Here's some signs of depression:
* Persistent sadness
* Difficulty concentrating
* Sleeping too little or too much
* Loss of interest in activities that you usually enjoy
* Recurring thoughts of death, suicide or hopelessness
* Anxiety
* Feelings of guilt or worthlessness
* Change in eating habits
Here's a website about pregnancy & depression. I would defintely tell your OB or any doctor about what's going on. Depression can cause lots of stress and that's not good for the baby either! Good luck, hope this info helps!

If you just lost your job of course you are depressed. talk to your Dr. he may be able to help you with some medication. Being depressed while pregnant is not unusual. With my 1st I cried for about 8 months solid. With my 2nd I was pissed off for about 8 months. Your hormones will really make things different, but depression is something to talk to your Dr. about because it could move on to Post Natal depression which is a little bit more serious.
P.S Why would it matter if your belly was showing at your last job? You can not be fired for being pregnant. They can put on you disability or if a danger to the baby give you a different work assignment. Check with your state unemployment office on this, at lease see if you qualify for unemployment.

Your hormones are all changing during pregnancy ( and after). It can do all sorts of things, from depression, to lots of other things. It will all get better after the baby is born. Just concentrate on a healthy baby and try to look at things possitive.
