first of all I'm a funny guy..I keep smilin'..and gigglin'..some girls that I liked thought it was gay..would you say that being funny is not attractive if it's all the time..or would you rather be with a manly man...(boring to be with type)

A sense of humour is WAY more important than good looks. If you're average-looking and amazingly funny, you'll go way further in life than someone who is hot but dumb.

Funny guy over a boring manly man any day.
Luckily, when I got married, I got both :)
But because you asked, I will tell you that someone who is funny all the time is hard to be around. Sometimes you just need your man to be serious and not always clowning. It kind of sounds like the challenge for you is to learn when funny is good, and when it isn't.

Here's the deal. It is great to have laughter in a relationship. There are times and places for being funny in a relationship. But, it is great to be with a man who can make you laugh.
On the manly man part: Woman like to feel safe while she is with a man. If the only thing the guy provides is funniness, that can hurt the relationship. But, if the guy can make a woman feel safe and warm around him, she's his.

Actually, I like brains best. So if a man is funny in a SMART way--rather than in a goofy way--then I might go for him. As for "manly men": I don't like machismo, if that's what you mean...

I dumped my car-loving, beer-drinking ex for a standup comedian. That was a good thing. :)
But seriously, I think some guys who think of themselves as funny guys hide behind jokes and humour a bit, which makes it hard for people to get to know them. And personally, I am most attracted to people who are open about themselves.
