He check it every day and he steals it and eats it.
He gets up early .....
Even if I scold him , he does not stop it.
Therefore I can't eat with a tomato.
I appeal ! Anyone ? An owner ? It's me !!!

Two of my dogs love tomatoes. They once stole a 3 pound bag of them , and pooped catsup all the next day. then i learned that tomates can be toxic to dogs in large amounts, and thanked my lucky stars that they had only made 'catsup' and seemed fine..I give them my tomato trimmings, , but I'm more careful to keep them out of reach.

Even though we feed our dog only dog food, if she can get it she loves fruits and veggies including tomatoes. She eats pickles, potatoes, grapes, strawberries, bananas, carrots, broccoli, it is crazy! When I cook dinner, she is right there under foot hoping that I will accidentally drop something (which is really awkward as she weighs around 90 pounds). I actually have to shoo her away constantly as I can not get to the counter or stove without leaning over her - in which case things do tend to drop off the counter when I am chopping or cutting food. If you have tomato plants, you will have to put chicken wire around them to protect them from your thief! (we can not leave anything on the counter if we are not home, as she will eat it - but won't if we are here).
Put your tomatoes out of reach, maybe in a cabinet or on top of the microwave in a bowl. (Don't put them in fridge if you can help it, it is not good for them if they get too cold).

I don't have a dog, but friends parents have a dog that love tomatoes and onions. How very very cute that is!
As for your stealing problem, don't you keep your tomatoes in the fridge? Can your dog break into the fridge? Find a safe place to keep them and put him outside when you're cooking with them.

My dog is a rott and he likes tomatoes. I give him the ones that are over ripened. Your dog should not have access to your tomatoes, find a better spot for the dog or the tomatoe plant.

My dog likes tomatoes, and sauerkraut, too, especially if cooked with pork.

That's completely normal - my dog will eat literally ANYTHING except for plain lettuce.
