Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years:
1. Single people should be celibate.
2. Married people should be faithful to each other.
The Catholic Church recognizes the power of sex when it teaches, "Sexuality affects all aspects of the human person in the unity of his body and soul."
Chastity means the successful integration of sexuality within the person. A chaste person's body and spirit lives in unity and opposes any behavior that would impair that unity.
+ Pornography +
Catholics believe that pornography offends against chastity because it perverts the intimate giving of spouses to each other.
It does grave injury to the human dignity of all participants (actors, vendors, the public), since each one becomes an object of base pleasure and illicit profit for others.
+ Masturbation +
Masturbation also offends chastity and is contrary to the human dignity of the person and anyone about whom the person has lustful thoughts, and the dignity of human sexuality.
With love in Christ.

Watching a porn or looking at anything naked is to lust after it so it would be a sin in the eyes of God. Masturbating because of watching porn would be a sin. Having certain needs aside from lusting to cause that need then Maturbating would be a natural means of dealing with that need and there is nothing I have found that says it is wrong.

Yes watching porn masturbating is a sin.If you want to grow spiritually, stop those things immediately. Those are the devil's ways of keeping people far away from God. Remember the Bible says "Donot love the world and the things of the world".

The Bible says that every man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. Then when lust has concieved it brings forth sin and sin when it is finshed brings forth death. James 1:14-15 Many pastors I have heard use this verse and tell people if u sin u will burn in hailllllll forevah. Well thats a load of crap of course. Look, when you chose to give your life to Jesus Christ you died to your flesh and were reborn in the spirit. You became a new person. Unfortunately, we still have to live in the flesh till we go home and get a new body. Because the flesh is of itself, selfish, it is constantly at war with our spirit and mind to lure us away from God and commit sin. Of course this happens alot and anyone one telling u that they dont sin is a liar. God allowed His own Son to be crucified to pay the price of all our sin, what you and everyone goes through constantly. Do you think He is up there waiting for you to sin to say got ya now go burn in hell? Of course not. Jesus understands the things we are enticed by in the flesh. It s best to resist and if we stay close enough to God, the lure of that sin will leave after a while. Till then, you should stay away from porn which if u did not feel like masturbating b4 u will after u watch it. Sometimes it is best to go ahead and get it out of you though. Its better to pray and ask God to get it out of you or even talk it out with a friend. But sumtimes it just dont work as well as getting it out the other way. There are worse things, like catching a disease and other things. When its over though remember that feeling. Cuz when its over thats the truth settling in. It wasnt really worth it and u will feel ashamed. Remember the end of the book is always the punchline or the end of the matter. The TRUTH. Dont let ne one tell u u will die if you do. I think the priests should be able to marry. Even go after a hooker every now and then like ole Samson did. Maybe that would release that sexual tension that they take out on little children. Once again man making up laws to try and be God. I figure God would rather a person masturbate then to rape a child. This in no way should be construed as saying ok I will sin and God will forgive me. He knows all and He is not mocked. If masturbating alot is a problem, I suggest you stay away from porn and maybe even tv and most movies nowadays ne way till you feel stronger in being able to resist it. Like drugs, if there is no desire there is no need for them. Same thing. Peace and GBU I will be praying for you my friend. Might as well leave you with James again. James 4: 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will leave you alone. (Notice staying closer to God is said before you resist the devil) Go to God first.

All sin is is not growing into full potential. If porn helps you grow (no pun intended! ha!), then watch away!
Masturbation, on the other hand (sorry! ha!) is great, but better without the porn... imagination much better

Watching pornography is a sin. Masturbation is also a sin. That Jennifer B hoe doesn't know what the **** she's talking about. Any sex outside the bonds of marriage is a sin. And that includes masturbation, anal sex, and oral sex.

What is the point of watching porn and masturbation? These are to fulfill one's own, selfish sexual gratifications, right? You are in it just to make yourself feel 'good'. Is this the kind of sexual experience that God intended when he created man and woman? Not saying he doesn't want you to feel good!! I realize how that sounded... LOL But when watching porn or masturbating, one is usually alone and only concentrating on oneself, not thinking of another's needs or desires sexually.Masturbation also instills certain attitudes that are mentally corrupting. (Compare 2 Corinthians 11:3.) This habit teaches one to treat his or her body as merely an object to be used for sexual pleasure. When masturbating, a person is immersed in his or her own bodily sensations—totally self-centered. Sex becomes separated from love and is relegated to a reflex that releases tension. But God intended sexual desires to be satisfied in sexual relations, an expression of love between a man and his wife.—Proverbs 5:15-19.
Losing this viewpoint can lead to problems in adjusting to a right relationship with those of the opposite sex. Such ones could be viewed as sex objects rather than as sensitive human beings. One may tend to exploit another as a mere tool for sexual satisfaction. Such wrong attitudes taught by masturbation can defile one’s “spirit,” or dominant mental inclination. For good reason, God’s Word urges: “Beloved ones, let us cleanse ourselves of every defilement of flesh and spirit.” (2 Corinthians 7:1)

Watching porn is a sin in christianity.
mathew 5:28 But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart
Looking in person or on tv is the same thing.
Also .judging by this verse........lusting after your own wife is a sin if she is a woman also.
face it buddy........the gospel writers needed a few more brain storming sessions before writing this stuff down.
Put the bible aside........and ask God if its wrong........if he says nothing.......then go for it.
merry christmass

Yes and yes, unfortunately. Masturbation separates the sexual act from both purposes it's meant for - babies and bonding - and it is fundamentally self-centered. Pornography warps sexuality and turns women/men into objects for pleasure rather than actual people with human dignity and worth. It's hard to get over, though, especially in today's world; good luck, I'm praying for you.
