It's an open ended question.
First of all, is 13 too young to have sex, a girl can have sex when she wants to. Is she too young? Maybe...is her body ready to have sex? Can she control her emotions? Can she make a judgement call on her actions? Is she responsible enough to make a logical choice? Can she live with her actions? What will her parents think, her friends, her classmates?
A boy, as well, has to think about the repurcussions. Sure, envy of guys who think it's cool to be a stud, don't see the full picture....becoming a dad, unable to go out, because they have to watch the baby, and what about the life they create, is he going to be responsible enough to take care of the girl, if something unexpected happens?
Personally, I wouldn't have sex until 16, if then, only if you know the guy well....protection....or, wait til you're married.
I might seem old and fuddy....but I'm married longer than most adults in my age bracket, because I wasn't having 30 flings a year, and having more diseases than I can pronounce.
Save the fun, for a guy or girl, who really deserves it....and give them a night to remember....don't bow to peer pressure.

I have once heard that if you have to question something like that it usually is not right to do.
I am sure that you have a lot of questions about sex and are curious about trying it, but that is a great part of being a teenager. It is great to be able to look forward to something, but in the meantime enjoying what is now and dating people and possibly finding "the one."
To me, sex should be only within a marriage. Many times it does not happen that way, but I think it should be something that is strived for. Love should definitely be a the relationship. Sex is one of the most sacred acts, don't waste a first time that you think you may regret and may not be completely ready for.

Yes, of course. And don't tell me that its natural because they've been doing it for thousands of years. I know that people have married at that age, but it doesn't mean its in their best interest. At that age, children are not emotionally ready for sex, and a girl of that age is certainly not physically developed enough to have a healthy pregnancy. I don't know any 13 year old boys who are equipped to be a good father, either.

I'm 17 and I'VE CHOSEN TO REMAIN A VIRGIN UNTIL I GET MARRIED. Not that I'm trying to force my beliefs on you or anything. Do you know what could happen? You could get pregnant, have a little baby growing inside of you, and you're only 13. You could get an STD or AIDS, no man will ever want to be with you again, and you're life would be over at 13. Don't you want your first time to be with someone you love, someone who won't walk out after he got what he wanted? Guys will do shitty things to you for the rest of your life. Save that until you're happily married and you know you want to be with that person for the rest of your life.

Yes. If you are not ready to deal with having a baby or an STD, you are not ready to have sex. Plus your body is still very young and small. WAIT

yes it is it is way to young to even be thinking about sex should wait till u are older at least 18 or when u get married

I believe for a 13 years old, you should be thinking of other things than sex at 13, for sure. Otherwise in later years it is going to be all over your head and you will not be able to help it i.e. all your relationships will be driven by sex/lust etc.
Just get mature first to know what sex is. I have read cases wherein girls can not become pregnant bcos of premature sex (i.e. genitals not fully developed).

Listen to me closely...
You need to wait until you're married.
Even if you think you found someone and you'll never break up.
Because if you do have sex, and then break up, one day you'll have to tell your husband or wife that you messed around as a 13 year old. Keep in mind that your spouse loves you, and never wants to picture you with anyone else, regardless of your age.
Just wait, and you'll never have anything to regret.

If you are too young to sign a lease on an apartment
If you are too young to sign for health insurance for yourself and a child
If you are too young to afford diapers, formula, and daycare
If you are too young to take care of a child full time and still get an education
You are too young for sex......
