heres the thing i have black hair and jus recently dyed it with red highlights...i went to the beach and i so carelessly stayed out way too long...and now my reds are turning brown and even blonde....what do i do?should i attempt to get the red back...(how) or should i try a different route?...advice please school starts in about 2 days thank yu

The only way to get the red back is to redo them. Once your hair is red again try to take more care of it. Red fades the fastest of any color, it's very delicate. Here's a few tips to keeping your red longer: wash it in luke warm to cool water(cold if you can stand it), use only shampoos & conditioners formulated for red hair(I like Pantene's red expressions), try to wash your hair every other day or every two days instead of every day, try not to blow dry or flat iron too often, & keep your hair out of the sun

I have black-brown hair and when I had red highlights I used a color-boosting oil treatment and they looked like new, I think V05 was the brand. And if you're really at a loss, I've heard a lot of people online say you can mix red cool-aid with a bit of conditioner and leave it in your hair and it will dye it, so I imagine it would work to retouch hair. I've never tried it myself though so don't take my word for it!

well depends what color are ur normal hair color is either u can have red highlights done again or u can go to a drug store and buy a hair die the same color ur hair is and then die ur highlights back
