Be honest! Don't put things in there that aren't true so people know what to expect. You should screen people and not just give him to any tom, dick, or harry that calls or shows up. You may want to contact a no kill rescue group for help if you need to place him in a new home. I don't know your situation, but for your dog's sake, screen people first!

just keep it basic, kind of dog, gender, age and whether it gets along with kids, cats, etc also if you want an adoption fee
(which is sometimes wise as creeps who work for labs
always look for "free" dogs to sell to the labs for
experiments ) You don't want your dog to suffer like that.
It would be better to give the dog to a "no kill" shelter or
a rescue group who will care for the dog until they find
a good home. Check your area for rescue groups, that
would probably be the best and easiest thing for you to do.
Never ldumpa dog out on its own, those dogs get run over
or starve to death, or worse. Be a responsible human and
do the right thing.

You spelled his name Oasas? Is that a foreign name?
Anyway, describe his breed, temperament, color(s), size, whether he's house-broken, paper-trained, etc. Anything you would want to know before you obtain a dog; put that in the paper. Is he active? Friendly? Protective? Be honest about why you're getting rid of him. If you don't have time for him or can't keep him in the house, say so.
If you're concerned about the cost of putting the ad in the paper then put the basics and your phone number and tell them to call for more information.

Put an ad on petfinder.com, it should only take day or so to find him a home.Let people know what kind of dog he is, if he is male or female, if he is fixed (neutered or spayed), his age, how big he is, and anything particular, like he loves kids, or he hates kids. Good luck!

If you have a rescue organization in your area, check them out. They can help you find a loving home for your dog. Depending on what type of dog you have, or even if he is a"dog of diversity," they could help you with the advertisement, too. My bundle of mischief is a rescue dog, and I love him dearly! Good luck finding him a home!
