They went through economic depression because they lost all their money beating the Germans and then they lost India and all of their other colonies because they couldn't afford them anymore. But there was some good news in 1952 when the young Queen Elizabeth was crowned. Then there was the Suez Canal crisis of 1956. Just about that time prime minister MacMillan was caught screwing a whore named Christine Keeler and the scandal knocked him right out of office. And then it was the sixties and Prince Charles started to go to discotechs and four lads from Liverpool changed the world that's pretty much it. Oh yeah. A lotta bombs blew up from IRA terrorists and there was a lot of violence in Northern Ireland and then Maggie Thatcher became the first woman Prime Minister ever and she turned out to be one bad *** beeeeatch. In 1982 they invaded the Falkland Islands for no apparent reason except there were a lot of sheep there. Prince Charles married a kindergarten teacher named Diana who liked doing Aerobics and didn't like doing what the Queen told her to do. Meanwhile, Maggie Thatcher started flirting with Ronnie Reagan and British Prime Ministers have been giving American Presidents blowjobs ever since. Charlie and Diana get divorced and the queen is pissed and then Diana dies a tragic death and the Queen has to pretend she cares when she is really secretly glad Diana is dead and the same damn Queen has been around now for 54 friggin years making hers the third longest reign in British History. Only Queen Victoria and George III have had longer reigns. What can I say? When it reigns, it pours!!!

England hasn't done much of anything since WWII, simply beacause they lost most of their empire, and have been content with dealing with Northern Ireland and Scottland.
