I'm going to have to go with American, followed by Bleu Cheese, Monterey Jack...Swiss only goes well with certain sauces.

American cheese is just so compatible with everything.

My favourites are english cheeses, Stilton, Gorgonzola, Cheshire etc.

IItalian parmesan.

Then of course, Australian King Island cheeses of all varieties......

ohh I like most all cheeses but here are some of the popular ones: Bulgarian ( white soft cheese- not salty but very tasty), White cheddar, Lancashire, Babybel, halloumi ( Greek) Australian Kraft cheddar...and many more.
