there are a few key rules to first meeting with parents of our specials

1 speak when spoken to
2 all ways say yes mame/sir and no mame/sir
3 say what they want to hear!!!
4 if they ask how its going with their child *lie and say there the most wonderful person you have ever met
5 act like you love them (by being polite even if you just want to scram and run.)
6 ask your special one to not leave you alone with them so that they have no time to hound you about stuff about the two of you.

if you do this to the best of your abilty your a shoe in.

Eeeek I know how you feel. I still haven't met my fiance's parents he's originally from Cali but we are both on the east coast (Virginia Beach) so we're about as far away from his parents as we can get and still be in the US. He's really big into family so I really need to make a good impression. I've talked to his mom on the phone and such but it still makes me nervous. Not very helpful but at least know somebody is in the same boat. I'm 19 for the record.

I question your mom for being cool with you going on vacay with your bf at 17, but that wasn't the question. When meeting anyone's parents for the first time, it's important to be polite and friendly. Dress appropriately, don't hang all over your boyfriend. Be yourself. Be confident without being cocky. You should be fine.

be polite, dress carefully not dress up but dont wear something youd go out clubbing in, careful with your language and they will like you. be careful of pdas in front of them until you get a feel for what they are like. be yourself and have fun, they are letting you come along on the trip so they must like you plus your bf has probably already bragged like crazy about you. go open minded ands have fun.

I've always found the best way to deal with the parents was to be nice, polite and helpful all the while being yourself.

Try not to fart in front of them, and remember to flush the commode twice as you don't want them going in the bathroom behind you and seeing little souvineers floating in the toilet and make for sure you wear clean panties (no stains) just in case you rip the seat outa your pants when you sit down
