Yes, undoubtably there will be an impact on your health, as to what exactly, I don't know if we even understand it properly yet... theres lots of research going into sleep deprivation and the need for sleep to begin with, what it actually does/is and its purpose. I think you should consider mostly why it is your staying up so long...

Sooner or later tiredness will catch up with you... even if your using any form of drug to keep you awake (including caffine) please consider the consequences carefully... it appears every moment you take out of your "sleep bank" is likely to be payable at some point.

One or two nights will probably just make you sleep longer when you actually do get to sleep, but there are other issues, reference sites like Wikipedia (www.wikipedia.org) are likely to have more information. Take care, I wish you well...

Note: I have some philosopher friends say its about our brains organizing themselves during the night, they suggest stuff as bad as some kind of psychosis happens if you stay awake too long I know some forms especially drug-induced sleep deprivation can cause hallucinations, and stuff... but for me personally its mostly just concentration lapses and increasingly stronger waves of tiredness until I fall asleep... I hope it helps

You might get depressed and you might collapse. You could get into an accident if you drove or with something machary. If you are working on paitents in a hospital you could hurt someone. You could have an accident at home in the kitchen or with something else. Your imune system could drop and you could catch a bug. Your eyes could get druy and hurt. You will collapse soon.
