Apparently at one time your brother did a gesture to or at the bird which it took as a threat. The bird remembers. Not only that, but the bird has bonded with you, only you will it be faithful to. Your brother is going to have to work hard now to show this bird that he means no harm and just wants to be friends. Try having your brother give the bird a special treat while trying to gently talk to the bird. Tell him not to make any fast qestures that can be mistaken as a threat. In time the bird will come around at least enough to not attack your brother.
We have a friend who used to come to visit often. While we visited, a lovebirds cage was near him and once in a while he would say hello to the bird and "plink" up and down the cage wires. This really sent mixed messages to our bird who felt threatened by this action and did not like it. We warned him that someday this little lovebird will get revenge. Well, at another vist when this little bird was out of it's cage, he came to visit. Sure enough, this little bird went right after him. Size meant nothing to this little bird. He charged like a bull.

Your brother may have done something to the bird and now the bird feels threatened by him. The best thing to do is when your brother visits is to put the bird in its cage. That's the only way to stop it unfortunately.

I saw something like this on "Barking Mad", a TV show. Its because your bird feels he is higher in the pecking order therefore he is expressing dominance over your brother. Have your brother do things you would normally do. Such as feeding, training, etc. The bird will learn that food is controlled by your brother and to be fed means to get along.

What did your brother do to the bird? Put the bird in a cage and keep your brother away from him.

I saw a TV show once about an intruder that broke into another guy's house. The parrot that lived there got mad when the attacker came in and hurt the parrot's owner. The parrot attacked to try to defend his owner. Sadly, the intruder killed the parrot.

Maybe your bird hates him for a reason - hard to say.

But I was really amazed that a parrot would come to his owner's rescue!

I have 11 birds and they are tempermental if they dont like you then they do things like that I suggest that you keep them in a cage when youre brother is around they could get too excited and have a heart attack when hes around.

Maybe your brother has done to him something bad... or maybe he bothers him... I dont know... Or just the bird dont like it... like almost everyone said, put it on his cage when your brother is around...
Something like that: I have two friends who have a little Maltese Dog named Yogui. They have another friend that once bothered or did to him something he didnt like (but she didnt realized she was bothering him); and now, every time she comes to their house, Yogui growls at her and he hides on a little corner...
