An odd thought just occurred to me. I often report offensive and hateful questions that are posted, but I just realized that when I see one that is hateful to the non religious I never think to report it. And some can be REALLY hateful! I do feel like I so readily expect it that I just brush it off. Are we just THAT used to it? If so, that is sad.
Am I not alone in not thinking to report it? Or do some of you think to do so? Do many of us even think our opinions would even be heard if we were offended? I feel doubtful about that.

If it is inappropriate in any way, I report. I figure there are young ones on here, if it is something that I wouldn't want my 13 year old to read I report. I'm not a religious person, but believe in a higher power. If it is something I just DISAGREE with I don't report.
You should pray about why your not convicted enough to report the non religious ones.

No, I don't report that stuff. They are offensive, but not in a broad way. I only report things that advocate violence. I did report one that said "Kill the Atheists" and appeared to really mean it. That question was removed. But if it's just rhetoric, I also tend to brush it off. It's my opinion that most people who say that really nasty offensive stuff are just trying to shock people, they sit in front of their computers, alone no doubt, giggling at how many people they can offend from the safety of their own home. They probably view it as a success if they are reported.
They're a bunch of cheesy cowards who would never in a million years call a black person the "n" word to their face, but get their jollies from saying it anonymously. People who offend the non-religious (or anyone) with hateful remarks will be in for a big surprise if they expect God to welcome them with open arms in the afterlife.

In real life, I would not expect anti-atheist sentiment. My country is free of such troubles, thankfully.
However, in America, and on the internet, one kind of expects people to not like atheists, usually with little experience. So I don't report them, I am a touch numbed.
Especially after the 'include everyone' 'all viewpoints are good' guy compared atheists to scorpions that attack everything because it is their nature. That was weird.
But still, when it comes to religion, I don't usually take offense, but I do sigh for the anger and vileness that people display here. Though my main objective here is to understand such people, that I may one day convert many. :)
Conversion by algorithm, all the way baby!
(And when I say conversion, I mean to being accepting of a wide range of viewpoints - in this context it had no religious meaning whatsoever)

I asked a question that had nothing to do with my line of thinking. A 83 year man in an assisted living had seened a video and he wanted me to find out the name. A member told me it was If Nobody Believed In You. It will make an elderly man happy to know the name of the song. It had a religious meaning to it. But to take offense where non was intended is small. I want use this way of finding an answer to a question if it offends you..

Why do you wish to report people? In America we have a freedom of speech and since this is an international site, why not let those who don't have that freedom say what they please.
Religious people have a real habit of reporting anyone who disagrees with their theology.
Just leave people alone. If you don't like the question, don't answer it.

I never report anything, I'm not a snitch.
They said to report abuse and so I reported my wife when she locked me in the basement for two days and fed me only canteloupe cut into small squares with a plastic fork on the side.
They told me not to waste their time. So here you are reporting people for bad questions and you call that abuse? I suffered real abuse and they didn't even want to hear it. Lord have mercy.

Use to it mostly. But I did try reporting them in some of my own questions and they never got removed. I mostly just figure the person insulting me has a lack of wit to the point that they have to stoop to a 5 year olds tactice.

I never report anything. If its too offensive I answer the question like I don't understand it. Try to diffuse the anger.
Annoying the person can be fun too.
Although I never underestimate my own stupidity in answering or asking questions.

I am nonreligious, and while I shake my head at the ignorance of some of those kinds of postings, I don't report them. The only questions and answers I report are those that are racist or encouraging racism.
