maybe you are not asking for the right things from God. maybe he knows where you are but you have not found him yet. or maybe, just maybe; those are not what you need right now. some times it is the needs in our life and not the wants that he fulfills. instead of praying for stuff, just spend time talking to him and telling him about the things in your heart. a personal friendship with him is more important than anything you could possibly want.

Hmm, do you think a parent should give their children 100% of what they ask for? A wise parent weighs the physical and emotional needs of the child with the physical and emotional needs of his other children. The language of prayer is important, as well as listening for answers. Sometimes the answer is no, not because you aren't "findable" but because it wouldn't be in your best interests to receive that particular thing. Sometimes the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few, so to speak. If you slow down, however, you will start to feel quiet feelings that will let you know all sincere prayers are heard and acknowledged. In the case of finding a girlfriend, timing is really important. It may be best to be friends with many people for a while longer, and when the time is right you will meet someone. It may involve a move or going to where she is. Have a happy day!

If God thinks it necessary to help you he will find you. But we can not expect Him to arrange our lives for us in the way we want. This would make our stay at earth pointless. We have to make the best of our life that we can.
So if there is no snow for skiing you have no alternative then to find something else to do. If you can't find a girlfriend, maybe you should think what you can change about yourself to make it easier...dress up better, have a nice haircut, act more friendly and positive, do more sports, try dancing....there are a lot of possibilities to be active, but it may take some while until you have success.

I believe God always hears our prayers but sometimes the answers aren't what we may want. Just because you ask doesn't mean God's answer is yes. Sometimes it's No or maybe or wait. To often we as people want prayers answered now but the bible says blessed are those that wait on the Lord. Remember too that we are suppose to also pray that God's will be done. That means we should not just want what we want but what he wants for us.

Asking for snow to go skiing is not going to affect the salvation of your soul, so it is unlikely for this to work. Prayer is not magic. Often when our prayer "doesn't work" it is because either 1) God wants us to get closer to Him for our own sake and not for us to stay distanced because we're getting what we want, 2) the answer is "not yet" or 3) the answer is "sorry, that's not what is best for you."
God is with us always, so it is not that He can't find you or too busy, but have you been too busy for God? How much time have you taken out of your life for Him?
I would reccommend that you spend some time with spritual reading and prayer so that you can get closer to God.

well maybe it just wasn't meant to snow and maybe there is already a girl out there but you just have not realized it yet but god can always hear you even if it seems he has not answered he will eventually so don't worry and don't give up hope if your in need of help he will always be there to help you even if it seems he's not. have faith in the lord and keep your chin up and be happy your prays will be answered.
and you have to remember if it was to snow because you asked for it maybe it would have ruined someones wedding or a funeral or a big sports game.but always keep your faith but if you get lost pick up your bible and pray.

Correction--it hasn't happened YET. Yes, God is busy with YOU, and with all of His children. What's more, He knows exactly where you are at every moment of every day.
Hang in there. You must be patient and have faith. There is even a song that goes "In His time...."

"When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures." James 3:4
God doesn't give you "stuff" just because you want it. Your relationship with Him has to be first, other things follow after that. If you get a relationship with God then you can see what He will really do for you.
