adam was the first person on earth. would that make him the true son of god being the first. in genesis, there was adam, then eve, there sons took wives. that mean't they took their sisters making us all related. i brought this up to many church experts and they never thought about it, but it would mean we are all related. if they agree to that, then wouldn't all our dna show we are related but we are not. explain your thoughts.

Adam was created, Jesus is the Creator (God).

One is the creature, the other is the son. Vastly different.

and actually, since Jesus is God, He is the Creator AND the Son.

Adam is technically only a creation.

does that help?

You can't marry anyone without marrying a relation (relative).

We are all descended from Adam and Eve.

Adam's sons married their sisters. At that time it wasn't wrong (hadn't been declared wrong by God) and wasn't incest. There was no reason for God to declare it wrong then either, as there were no mutations built up in the genes, so marrying one's sister was not harmful at that point.

We have different DNA because all of the genetic information for all of the men who would ever live was in the genes of Adam and Eve. With specialization (groups being separated and marrying only their own kind, etc.), varations developed (this is why we have different skin colors, etc.). .

but all of the necessary genetic info for all of the people on earth today were in the original genes of Adam and Eve.

This is also why we have different varieties of animals but they are all descended from the same single original kind of that animal.

All the animals of the dog kind (german shepherd, chihuahua, wolf, dingo, fox, etc). . all are a result of specialized breeding (selection (both artificial and natural), but they are all descended from the original dog kind, which God only made a certain number of, but they had in their genes (as they were created) all of the genetic information for all the different kinds of dogs (and all their different attributes (short hair, long hair, etc.). . that would ever live on the earth.

Jesus was Jehovah's first creation. His firstborn, the first Angel made. He is extremely special to Jehovah, and thus considered his firstborn "SON". Adam, was the first HUMAN creation, and made in God's image. ( The assumption here is bipodal; two arms, two legs, torso, head....).

The Bible states that Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel and Seth, but it doesn't mention their daughters by name. However, they did have daughters just they weren't mentioned. When Cain killed Abel, he took one of his sisters and they went away together . Any offspring they had were later killed in the flood, thus negating any redneck opinions that this is where '*******' come from. At the time that mankind was created, the human genes were perfect, so 'in-breeding' as we know it today wouldn't have been a problem. Brothers and sisters could have children together without the fears that we have today of possible/probably birth defects.
With these 8 sets of DNA available and the traits that each could have carried, think of the variety that was able to be produced, just by 8 people!
So, Considering how long man has been on Earth since creation, and taking into account that the population had to start over again after the flood with a set of 8 people- Noah, his wife, his three sons and their wives, mankind now is some 55-60 generations old, making everyone somewhere in the area of 55-60 somethingth cousins to each other.......

Kind of makes racism look retarded, now doesn't it??

Adam was the first male human being that was created. Jesus was the son of God. Jesus was not human in the sense that you and I are. Mary was the virgin body that God used to bring Jesus into the world. Joseph was not his biological father. Remember Mary was a virgin. Jesus was God's only son. Adam was God's first human creation. He came here created as an adult. God sent his son, a baby to the earth to save us. In fact Jesus was God in human flesh. Adam was not . (John 1.) In the beginning you are right there weren't many people to choose from for wives, but isn't it something how God's plan created this unique world where in many ways we are different yet all related and all the same. The fact that scientifically only humans can reproduce humans, demonstrates that we all had to come from Adam and Eve. I believe that is why human DNA is different. There is a link in all of our DNA.

Good question but Adam was created by God while Jesus was a part of God so there's your difference. Interesting side note, I read in either CNN or National Geographic a few months ago that pretty much everyone on earth is related to everyone else some way or another. Mitochondrial DNA is how they figured it out.

Yes, the Bible and Science has confirmed that all humans everywhere are genetic, biological relatives.

Adam was the first "son" of God (Luke 3:38). But Jesus was the Son of God in a totally unique way, as He is God manifested in the flesh (John 3:16--monogenes = "only begotten)

Adam was the son of God: man's spirit empowered by God in a physical body but not the only begotten Son of God who was Jesus: Spirit of God in a physical body. see John 3. We are all related because Adam is the physical father of us all. However we are not all sons of God because as many as are led by God's Spirit are sons of God: spirit of man empowered by God in a physical body. Scientific evidence also shows we all came from one man. Also God could have created wives for Cain and Seth by using DNA and making them wives. He made a wife for Adam by doing this. They didn't have to wait for sisters to procreate.

jesus = god = the holy ghost = the holy trinity.

adam was the first human. jesus was "god in human form".

using dna evidence to support the bible is always a bad idea if you're not down with the fact that we share 98% of our dna with chimps. we ARE all related, after all...

I don't know about that. You see there was Adams first wife Lilith. Maybe one of Adams boys took Lilith as their wife. Of course that would still make us all related in one way or another so Yes. We are all related some how.
