They sell weight loss pills in common stores? There could be self concious people who really dont need to lose weight. I think it should be perscribed by doctors, but thats just me. What do you think?

Actually I don't think it's stupid, because when a doctor writes you a perscription, it's for something that actually works. :)

Weight loss pills come in many shapes, sizes and ingredients. Certainly, many of the ingredients can be life-threatening if taken inappropriately (e.g., fenfluramine-phentermine causing valve problems and birth defects). Safety is a major motivation for the prescription system, and potentially dangerous ingredients certainly should be, and often are, regulated through prescriptions.

Of course now you can get so much on-line and overseas without prescriptions....

I think your right! Weight loss pills should be prescribed. I know alot of people that take them that don't really need them. They think they're fat and they're not.
I agree, they should be a prescribed med.
