Why don't you try going to www.salary.com and research in specific fields what it is you are looking for and in what part of the country.

there's too many jobs. better if ur more specific in what u want.
what's high to u? what's ur limit to studying? what kinds of things u really don't want to do? (i.e. what tasks do u not want to do? like nothing mundane?...no complex math?...no science?...do u want to work independently or in teams? ...r u ok with presenting information to groups of people? etc.)
the highest paid are businessmen (millionaires/billionaires)...ceo or cfo, etc. to get there...mba + experience + contacts
