Take your mom's side, when you can. This will make her think you see things her way, and she'll be more likely to see things your way. Try to be agreeable when around your mom, and when I say take her side, I mean on small things, too. If she's opening a bottle of water and she says, "Do they have to make these bloody things so hard to open?" just say, "Yeah, that's so annoying." She'll feel that you're agreeable, sympathetic, even if the two of you differ on the big things. Also, make your mom think you're reasonable. If ever your sister acts unreasonable, be sure to counter her in front of your mom. According to psychology, the more nice things you get someone to do for you, the more they like you. (You ask your mom to bring you a coke, your mom has to reconcile her action with you, as in "I like my daughter so much, I'm doing her a favor" - "My daughter is deserving of me getting her a coke.") This happens on a subconscious level, but each favor your mom does for you reinforces that she likes you, and you are deserving.

Unfortunately it would alway be like that. I know! I am oldest child and my mom ALWAYS take my sis or half brother side no matter what. Here's a example:
Once my sis once accident set carpet on fire and destroy quarter of living room. She got away by writing a apologize note.
However once when I have a accident with firework close to old apartment. It was completely harmless beside loud explode. My mom literally kicked my closed door open and throw phone and few things at me and her eyes got all red and yelled at me for couple hours and grounded me for two months.
Two years later about two weeks after I graduated from high school. I casually ask my mom to explain this to me. She say my sis didn't mean to set the house on fire and was curious about what would happen if she set a syrofoam disposable plate on fire. She say that I literally should know better than light a firework.
See... this make absolutely NO sense! I lited it outdoor well away from anyone or building, no one got hurt or anything. However my sis destroy part of living room and my mom wasn't even one bit mad and say it was a accident even though my sis know that she was setting something on fire in a house!
So all you can do is basically try to not be home too much.

Unfortunately you can't control another person's reactions. All you can do is try to prove that you are responsible and trying hard to get a long with your sister. Hopefully over time she will appreciate that. Try to talk to your mom and tell her that you feel like she is always on your sister's side, at a time when you aren't in an argument.

Most of the time the younger sibling usually wins because they're "the little baby" (no offense to you of course). Perhaps your sister is very mature and has proved herself trustworthy. You just have to be very nice and help your mom a lot and she should take your side more often if your argument is valid. I mean I'm so good I've gotten my parents to admit they like me more than my little brother!

I don't think it's possible. Just don't take it out on your sis.
Me and my bro are best friends and my mom always blames me for everything (mostly for watching tv with him when he should be studying). Both me and my bro point it out to her that sometimes things are his fault too, but she always says that I'm the one corrupting him.

just tell your mom and do the crying effect. Say that "I wish i'm dead 'cause it hurts when all your attention is given to my sis." Hahahaha!

tell her you're pissed off. see even when i was a kid i knew that will happen to me if i have a sister. so when mum asked me if she should have another baby, i told her "fine. but i'll make sure the baby will suffer. it's your choice". mum thought i was violent and might hurt the baby so she didn't have the baby and i'm still the youngest. woo hooo
