Flying is awesome. It is such a neat feeling when the plane leave the tarmac!

Recs:
Try to get a seat over the wings, they are the most stable.

They probably won't let you for your age, but try to get an emergency exit lane... more leg room.

Chew some gum, the pressurization can cause your ears to feel plugged. It works for most people, but I use earplugs... they also help if you end up with a seat near the engines... I wear mine for the whole flight.

Bring some snacks & beverage in your carry-on... airplane food sucks.

Bring stuff to read, magazines, games to play.

Follow the flight attendants instructions.

Other than that, it's all good. Have fun!

Travel can be a lot of fun but you need to plan ahead. Once you have an airline ticket you will need a ride to the airport. From Vancouver to Ottawa you may expect to change planes at least once. Make sure you have money for a Taxi in Ottawa or have someone pick you up. If they have your flight number they can check by telephone if the flight is on time or delayed. Consider what you pack for clothes most people take much more than they will need. Make sure you pack all your personal products like shampoo, etc.

Airports can be big confusing places for people who are not used to them so ask any questions you need to of airport personnel so you don't get lost and miss your connection.

This will be a very exciteing time for you and enjoy your trip.

Be basic your loved ones isn't a taxi provider. tell them that the cost of petrol is costing to plenty on your loved ones to be working around after them. i might sack of consumer friends like this with the aid of fact they are basically taking the p*ss. i'm getting fairly offended with people who do no longer say thank you after having a loose raise someplace manners value no longer something ungrateful little sh*ts

you'll be fine...just be nice to the airline staff and tell them the truth that your nervous..they'll help you..it's what they do--customer service...
You may be a little nervous the 1st time...is this the 1st time you've flown...you'll hear a few strange noises and maybe hit a little turbulence but all of this is normal.
but as I've said..just be nice to the staff--they'll help you.
