my mom dozent thinks that teens can be in love and i do wat do u think???

Teens can be in love, but it is very, very rare for it to be the serious kind of love that leads to marriage. Teens sort of try each other on to see what fits and what doesn't. They don't really expect the relationships to last a long time. Only the very, very lucky ones find their soulmates in high school.

Its not about age. Its maturity. Although most people dont mature intill they are older, its still possible. There is still alot to experience in life, but that doesnt mean love cant be one of the first things. Its amazing. There is no way to explain love, because its an unexplainable feeling. If as a teen you can be loved, you can also love somebody. What about high school sweethearts, It happens all the time. People date threw-out highschool and get married. Do you think they would stick togeather long enough to get married If they didnt love each other when they were teenagers? I dont. But make sure once you fall in love, dont lose It :)

Well when a person is in their teens it is really a hard subject......everything is so much brighter you don't have all the stresses of the world yet, there isn't as much responsibility weighing emotions down.....so it makes it easier to fall in love....you haven't been hurt much to make you bitter...and what really are you defining LOVE? talking on the phone every night for hours....seeing each other in between classes....sitting together at lunch.....writing love notes to each other......going to dances together........sure all these things may make you feel like you are in love and when you are young to you.....you are....just be careful....weather you want to hear this or not this will not be your first love and it sure wont be your last....keep your heart as safe as possible for as long as possible....I am not saying not to love someone because when you are young it is the best thing along side to ice cream....just know that you will be hurt more than once before you find that ever lasting love. Good luck....and as for your Mom she is just worried about you because she doesn't want to see you get hurt or maybe even see you make the wrong decisions.

It is possible to be in love. But it is all too frequently confused with lust. True love is the ability to work through the not so wonderful moments of life and make them great. It is important to remember that you can find some wisdom in crazy places, sometimes even from your parents. Good luck, enjoy your youth, don't get "tied down" too fast.

I think anyone can be in love. At least with teens it is very often puppy love but not always. True love is extremely rare no matter what the age.

Your mom is right. Teens in the beggining experience infatuation not love. The chemical bonding of love needs to mature.

How old are you ? Moms are usually right. What she probably means is that you don't know true love. You have experienced what we call Puppy love which is just as powerful and hurts just as bad only it passes quicker and without the usual scaring . She isn't responding to your needs find another confidant.

I think anyone can be in love.. Love is an amazing expeirence everyone should have, its not always fun but its always special.. its sweet struggles that fill the past but builds the future... No matter what age you are or how mature you are.. you can feel love or be IN love with someone....

how young are you then? if you think you're in love...then you're the the one saying that, but i'm sure your mom is just concern and you have to understand that she also experienced the LOVE that you're talking about. don't rush honey...enjoy life but be more smart in handling relationship. don't get too serious for now...you'll know the real LOVE if come in the right age.
