I second Patrick's emotion :)
What I can't believe is the 5-10 gallons per day of DISTILLED air-conditioner condensate that is routinely routed to the sanitary sewer :(

mostly watering lawns. with extreme heat, many still water during the day instead of late evening or at night when its cooler. the biggest waste is bad timer units and sensors. i see lawns being watered when its raining out as the sensors don't shut off.

Half filled dishwashers/lose faucets-dripping water/broken pipes/using more water than require for household chores etc./throwing water away after washing vegetables rather than use it on plants etc../ using hoses to wash cars and so much more.

hmmmm....
that really depends on just how creative thje person wasting it is!
if water is used up wherever it is not required but instead can be used for a better purpose then you can say it is being wasted.

women taking too long of showers, Always flushing the toilet, even when you just go pee. ect And when washing your dishing keeping the water running while doing something else
