If you don't eat for the day will you die? No, but you will be miserable. Have a neighbor come over and feed your dog while your gone, or leave food out for her. Also make sure she has plenty to drink.

No it will not die but:
1. It is considered cruelty to animals and you could get a heavy fine. You could also lose the dog.
2. It may be mad at you and bite the hand taht feeds it.
3. It might eat your furniture and other things in the house for spite.

Umm..can't image why you would want to skip feeding your dog for a day BUT...to answer the question. It depends. Some breeds would be ok for a day and others not. I am currently fostering two senior Yorkies that would die if I didn't feed them before bed. Their blood sugar drops.

No, it won't, but be sure to remember to feed it daily, just as you would yourself! If you can't be there, leave it extra food, or have a friend or neighbor give it food. A dog is like you: both will get hungry after not eating for a day!

you can get dog food at the dollar store so there is no reason unless you dont have a dollar or you can buy a dog dispensar for like 5 dollars at walmart that puts out only a little bit each time it eats .or if you have no way that day to feed it, give it a pnut butter sandwich anything .neighbors really dont mind to help or a kid that lives nearby if your going away thats what we do .And they dont expect you to pay .They may need you one day for help.

The dog will not die. But you need to be responsible your your pets. If you forget or you don't have time to feed your dog every day and give it the attention it needs, would be better you give him/her to someone who can take care and give the adequate treatment to the dog.

i do no longer understand once you're sufficiently old to bear in mind the ravenous infants in Ethiopia back interior the '80's. all of us have been given at the same time at my place of employment and took up collections of nutrition, funds, and scientific ingredients. It became all sent to Ethiopia. Months later there have been comments everywhere in the information of how lots of those ingredients were recent in airport hangars the place that they were left to rot whilst greater infants died from starvation and affliction. Why do you employ Africa as an occasion? Do you recognize there are ravenous infants suitable right here in united states of america? And in Mexico? And very almost the different place you will care to show. i do no longer understand approximately absolutely everyone else, yet i'd choose to make my donations to the close by church homes and nutrition banks the place i understand the meant recipients will surely earnings. so a procedures as my canines circulate, there are additionally shelters and pounds finished of ravenous canines and cats. The 5 I certainly have are what I certainly have chosen to do to objective to assist their subject. i'm greater horrified by using what occurs to canines in domestic dog generators than by using ravenous human beings. the folk have something the canines have not got. loose determination. and various of government companies and bleeding hearts who ask questions like those on Yahoo!

No not for a day. Some dogs need to be fasted for surgeries, illnesses, bloodwork. I am not sure what your situation is but 24 hours will not kill the dog.

Your dog will not die going a day without food, but I don't recommend that you do that. They need food and water daily. You eat every day don't you?

Nope, just like people, dogs can live for a little while without food. Not comfortably, but they can.
