Probably a light auburn or reddish blonde. Usually there are pictures that are on the side of the box that will tell you what it will come out like on different colors of hair. The company might have a website that will show you if you don't have that.

Well honestly, you need to base this on the color your hair is now. Dark hair adding blond goes through stages. Black - brown - red - strawberry - blond. Depends on what the base of the color is. Seeing you bought Extra Light, I'm assuming it's probably a gold base unless you got it at a beauty supply store. I would say you can expect Light brown with red and possibly blond highlights. It's a guess but it's probably what you'll get. However, note that hair color is tricky. You might end up red, you might even get down to a dark blonde.

Sometimes putting one hair color over another can give some really funky results. You might want to wait a few weeks before coloring again.
I once dyed my hair a beautiful vibrant red. I loved it, but after about 3 weeks it faded to pink! (LOL) I put a medium auburn over it and got the strangest shade of red-orange. It was hilarious.
The good thing is it doesn't last forever. Also if going from dark to light, you may want to go with several shades lighter than what you actually want.

The light blonde may not work. Color does not remove color, even if it lightens it some it may not turn out right and your hair might get damaged. If you lightened your hair and didn't like it you could darken it,but the other way around is more difficult. I strongly suggest that you see a professional with this color. I don't want you to ruin your hair. Don't ever try to left hair dye with hair dye.

well it may remove a little of the dark brown hair color, but it will not take it back to the natural hair color. once you put in a dark hair color the only way to go back to natural color is to strip it which is like bleaching it. and then color it again your natural hair color. just condition it alot with so much chemical going into to your hair. good luck

if your shade is fading out that quickly, you're in all risk using a semi everlasting shade or demi everlasting shade. you are able to attempt what's called everlasting shade, which wont fade yet will develop out with your hair, so each 4-8 weeks youd in basic terms ought to get a retouch. I reccommend going to a salon and having it finished expert extremely than procuring shop offered shade. additionally, i could draw back from thoroughly black, as quickly because it everlasting black its very stressful to get the different shade, inclusive of brown. desire this helps!
