That used to happen to me alot when I raised a lot of indoor plants. I left my windows open at night a crack so they would get fresh air. I lived in Washington state. When I moved to LA California, I gave my plants away, and now it doesn't happen anymore. I love plants, but I don't want to go through that again, so now I just have a couple.

get yourself a humidifier. If it's getting too damp or stuffy in your room, you will wake up with this problem. They are around $20 bucks for even the good ones. I got one for my apt and it stopped my morning stuffiness. Also make sure your room is vacuumed and dust free.

Allergies. I've heard of someone once where she had mold growing inside the walls of her house and she was allergic to them. Something like that may be it.

It could be the air in your room. Has it been thoroughly dusted lately? I had the same problem until I vacuumed EVERYTHING, windows, baseboards, ceiling fan, furniture....
Hope you feel better soon.
