It would have been difficult enough a year ago, at 14, and it's only much more difficult now.
The first question would be why did you wait an entire year to even tell anyone? Did your parents know? Did you tell them then? Why didn't they report this? Why is a 15 year old child asking about charging someone with a sex crime one whole year after the fact? This tells me that you did not go to the hospital and get checked out. They would have had to report this. So we assume the crime was not rape. If it was fondling, again, why didn't you tell anyone? There is no documented evidence. There is no adult that can help you prove your case. So at this time, (one year after the fact), there is nothing that can be done. In the future, if you feel that you are being abused, report it to the police then. Don't wait. Get documentation of it. Be able to prove what you are charging someone with. Get pictures of how you were injured. All of these things would be valuable in proving your case. Now, you don't have anything, and no one would touch this case. They know that you will lose.

You can report it, the crime that is. Your chances rely on your honesty. Do not add to it, so don't embellish the truth. You can't tell the same lie exactly everytime is a rule. So do yourself and your claim a favor and rely totally on your honesty. I am not saying this didn't happen to you, I am just saying remain honest in this at all times. If you embellish it to 'improve' your chances of proving it, you may fail and be regarded as unreliable and this man walks to do it again.

You need to tell your parents and then have them call the police. A report needs to be made, the sooner the better. The police will get you into some counselling and help you to get past this. If this happened in Texas you will be assigned a fake name so that your identity can be protected. If you want to ask anything else feel free to write back...

Go to the police. If this person is not stopped, you will be only one of the victims. Police are trained to ask questions in this matter. You will likely see a psychologist with the department. Please remember that a sex offender who is not stopped and has their activity restricted will continue to assault.

You have to go to the police. They should even appoint a lawyer to you. ... You might have find your own lawyer. Whatever the price. you can't let someone like this be allowed to be in public. You may be able to stop it from happening to someone else! Think about that!
