OK, I know this post is flamebait, but I'm gonna answer anyway -- maybe because there's so many more atheists than scientologists. Maybe 10% of Americans aren't religious(1) and 16% of the world (2) while there are only about 500,000 scientologists everywhere -- I think that's like .000083% of the world.

christians pray for the savoir of athiests. interestingly enough, athiests wouldn't return the favor. christians generally cannot accept the fact that anyone can have beliefs different from theirs. that is why christians are the ONLY religion in the world with missionaries in other countries, attempting to spread the word of "god". jews, buddists, muslims, hindus, even mormans don't attempt to spread their beliefs. only christians do.
it's probably a symptom of an origionally weak infrastructure of their religion in the firsst place. people with weak points of view commonly try to spread their ideas, because the only way they can gain strength is in the numbers of the believers.

There are many cults out there, some are even atheistic.Do atheists police what all atheists do no matter how stupid? Of coarse not.As for wasting time on atheists I used to be a atheist and I'm glad a pastor spent time with me to pray and lead me to salvation.So I'm just reaching out to people that I used to be like.
