I lived in South Korea for one year and didn't have any problems. Koreans aren't scared of us. I am a Caucasian male and had a great time. I dated a few girls and had good experiences. Korean girls are shy but not scared to be around us.

Who are the Korean women afraid of white guys? They might be afraid to speak English. If someone is approaching them on the street, then they are probably freaked out because Koreans don't really do small talk with strangers. And no doubt Koreans have a certain prejudice against whites and like the rest of the world, they aren't really too fond of America, but scared?
If you are Russian, that's a different story. It probably has something to do with that, rather than the color of your skin. Not saying it's right . . .

I wouldnt say that they are afraid of caucasian guys. Im not sure what adequacy has to do with them being afraid either... lost.
