Most Arabs want Isreal to be abolished as a country. The Six Day War of the early Sixties was when several Arab countries plotted to wipe Isreal out, but Isreal got word and launched a pre-emptive attack and kicked their asses. This is still a prevalent attitude amongst the Arabs, especially the terrorists. Terrorists are mostly religious fanatics, who have no tolerance for other religions. Usually, Isreal is attacked by Arabs, and has had to respond with force. This most recent episode began with Hezbollah ( a terrorist group) kidnapping an Isreali soldier. They demanded the release of their comrades from Isreali prisons in exchange for the soldier's release. If Isreal had given in, it would have encouraged Hezbollah to kidnap someone else. So, yeah, I think Isreal is justified.

Israel has to defend themselves because their Savior Jesus told them the only way to God is through him, and they still refuse to believe it. Like the persecution throughout history and the "Holocast" hasn't softened their stance one iota. God is right, they are indeed a stubborn people. So they destroy the world with nuculear bombs and the believers in Jesus get the blame, what does it matter if no one can live on the cinder that was once so lush and beautiful?

yes, of course, but even the concept of having to ask such a question shows a latent anti-israel bias in teh world. does any other country have to wonder if it is allowed to defend itself...
