The strong stuff. I get a laugh at the people who think that grape juice was available year round! I asked this question once, about the last supper. I was shocked at the number of people that could not believe Jesus was drinking real wine, even though it clearly says that the supper was in the spring, way before a grape harvest, and way after the previous years grapes would have rotted (fermented).
Do people think Mary wanted Jesus to go the refrigerator?

After much scholarly debate amongst the clerics and garning from ancient texts found in a cave off the coast of Staten Island, it was believed Jesus produced a Bordeaux with a heavy scented body of plums, pepper, blackberries and a hint of chocolate when left on the pallet.
No...really...it's true.

Kosher. And most likely red.
We checked into doing a traditional passover ceremony and meal and it included wine. The wines at the store seemed to be all Merlot.

According to John the Beloved, it was the best.
"Everyone serves the best wine first, and the cheap kind when people are drunk. But you have kept the best wine until now!" (John 2:10)

Matt 22:11 This develop right into a royal wedding ceremony, and that is likely that a particular garment develop into provided with suggestions from the royal host for his visitors on an social gathering consisting of this. if so, the failure of between the visitors to be clothed with the marriage garment indicated that he had spurned the garment provided with suggestions from the king at the same time as it develop into provided to him. Matt 22:12 merely as a uniform or particular dresses identifies one as belonging to a particular agency or helping a particular circulation, so clothing, as used symbolically in the Bible, shows the id of someone with suggestions from the stand he's taking and his activities in team spirit with it, as with regards to Jesus’ representation of the marriage garment. Matt 22:13 “at the same time as the king got here in to analyze the visitors he stuck sight there of a guy no longer clothed with a wedding ceremony garment. So he stated to him, ‘Fellow, how did you get in the following no longer having on a wedding ceremony garment?’ He develop into rendered speechless. Then the king stated to his servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot and throw him out into the darkness outdoors. there is the position his weeping and the gnashing of his teeth will be.’” the guy without a wedding ceremony garment photos imitation Christians of Christendom. those God hasn't ever recognized as having the right id as religious Israelites. God under no circumstances did anoint them with holy spirit as Kingdom heirs. so as that they are thrown outdoors into darkness the position they're going to conflict through destruction. Jesus concludes his representation with suggestions from putting forward: “For there are a determination of invited, yet few chosen.” sure, there have been many invited from the country of Israel to develop into members of Christ’s bride, yet merely some organic Israelites were chosen.

Fermented wine with alcohol in it from the sugar being converted to alcohol from the yeast naturally in the grape skins. This passage in John speaks of them bein drunken so I can't believe it was just sparkling grape juice.
