God's name is Yaweh as nearly as we can figure without the actual vowels having been printed in the original languages but this name means "I am" or "I will prove to be what I will prove to be". In other words, God can be whatever is necessary to accomplish his purposes.

The personal name of the only true God is Jehovah.(Ps.83:18)"Jehovah" is translated from the Hebrew Tetragrammaton, which means "He Causes to Become"These four Hebrew letters are represented in many languages by the letters JHVH or YHWH.
No human today can be certain how it was originally pronounced in Hebrew.Because Biblical Hebrew was originally written with only consonants, no vowels. When the language was in everyday use, readers easily provided the proper vowels. In time, however, the Jews came to have the superstitious idea that it was wrong to say God's personal name out loud,so they used substitute expressions. And in time the original pronunciation of the divine name was lost.
Many scholars favor the spelling "Yahweh," but it is uncertain and there is not agreement among them.On the other hand,"Jehovah" is the form of the name that is most readily recognised, because it has been used in English for centuries and preserves, equally with other forms, the four consonants of the Hebrew Tetragrammaton.

The personal name of the only true God, Yahweh. His own self-designation. Jehovah is the Creator and, rightfully, Sovereign Ruler of the universe. "Jehovah" is translated from the Hebrew Tetragrammaton (sorry can't include as I don't have Hebrew letters on my keyboard) which means "He Causes to Become." These four Hebrew letters are represented in many languages by the letters JHVH or YHWH.
Psalms 83:18 - That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah (Please look it up in your bible).
"Jehovah" is the form of the name that is most readily recognized, because it has been used in English for centuries and preserves, equally with other forms, the four consonants of the Hebrew Tetragrammaton.

Hello friend,
Please read Ex.3:13,14 to see God's answer to your question.
There He tells Moses what His name is.
Just FYI, in the Hebrew there are no vowels so "Yaweh" as you've spelled it is an translation of the unspeakable YHWH which is the root of "I AM".
Now that you know all that, He says you can call Him Jesus.
Blessings,
2 Tim. 2:7

It depends on who you ask. He's called by many names, but the most common for many people is simply God (with a capital G). This is about as far as I can go without pulling stuff out from the Bible (and I'm not one that can simply quote a verse and then write it out, although I have read it).

Jesus said, "I am in the father and the father is in me."
"Before Abraham was, I AM"
"I AM that I AM"
If you think about it, it can only be I AM, for how is it that God is everywhere? Knows all about you, inside out? And once you truly find a relationship with God, you feel him transform you from the inside out.
Jesus' first commandment "love God with all your heart, mind, and spirit" refers to the fact that the moment we give our lives to God-- his glory power and will lives through us. Hence I AM is in you and never abandons us.
The other names are simply names that we have tried to assign God
