I have a 5 month old boxer puppy that I got a month ago. The lady I got her from told me she kills chickens etc. She does! I am not quite sure what to do to stop this! Any ideas?

Keep it separated from the chickens. Keep the chickens in a coop and the dog somewhere else.

I'm sure I'm going to get a lot of people upset but this really does work, the next time your puppy gets a chicken, take the chicken away from her,put her on a leash
show her the chicken, tell her NO several times, when she tries to take it from you, shorten the leash so you have a good grip
and then whip her with the chicken(it's already dead) one maybe two whippings are all it will take
my son raised bantam chickens, he loved them more than anything, even kept one in the house, so when we adopted a dog from the pound we had to break them fast, this absolutely works

From personal experience I'm afraid there may not be anything you can do. It's the old saying, "once they have the taste of blood they always want it".

I'm sorry I can't be of much help. Here, we would have them put to sleep as they pose a great danger to other animals.

Your only other options are to get rid of the chickens.

once a dog has a taste for that blood, it will always want it. I was raised on a farm, and my mom raised hunting dogs, so I know. The only thing you can do is give the dog away, or sell it to someone who isn't around animals. If you put up a fence, it will just dig out, and tieing her up isn't an option either. Good Luck.

Tie a dead chicken around his neck for 2 or 3 weeks. It's sort of extrema but it will make him dislike eating chickens.

When a dog did that when i was growing up, they tied the dead chicken to the dog until it rotted off. either that or it got shot one or the other. once they kill chicken, they wont quit. you will have to get rid of her.

It's a dog. His instinct is to hunt. Can't blame him for it, so just keep him away from the chickens.

DUH!! STOP HER!!!
Confine the chickens *&* the fool PUP!!! Good grief!! use your brain!
It's possible to "stock-break" a dog but yours will need EXTRA work! Put on choke/slip/chain collar & lead(know HOW to USE one CORRECTLY???) & NAIL her when she tries to grab. OVER & OVER AGAIN! NEVER let it be un-supervised near the stock.
