Yes. I've had both. I had an open MRI - the newer kind where they do not put you in the tunnel (which is bad if you're claustrophobic).
The MRI takes longer -about 45 minutes but it is painless and not as bad as I thought it would be. It's weird - I felt like I was in a sci-fi movie being experimented on by aliens. It is very loud but they gave me headphones to wear with nature sounds to listen to.

Yes, I've had both. They are merely diagnostic tools, and are nothing to be afraid of.
The MRI is, by far, the one that can cause someone concerns if they aren't ready for it. There are 2 types: the original one and one called "open". In the "original" style, you are enclosed in a metal "tube" like machine, where certain portions of your body are "scanned". The scanning is loud and sounds like thuds and pops of varying lengths and pitches. Often you are offered the chance to listen to music to "dull" the sound of the machine. You will be asked to keep from moving while being scanned.
In the "open" one, I do not believe you are in the "tunnel"; but, I really do not know because I haven't been in one of these.

As for the room cleansing - our toddlers might prefer to have their chores executed in the previous dinner or they do now no longer consume until ultimately this is complete - and executed suitable. Sounds a sprint harsh, however if it fairly works. they might prefer to bypass a room inspection however whether this is room cleansing day. The screaming is demanding - yet you would be able to prefer to stroll away and act like it does not difficulty you. try this some situations, and it will end via way of fact it now now no longer works. each and every time the two twelve months previous breaks something that belongs to somebody else, make him/her grant certainly one of his/her trendy toys to the sufferer. If he/she breaks certainly one of their very own toys, fairly throw it away in front of him/her. do now no longer act like it bothers you, fairly preserve it gently. All of this is being executed to get a reaction. Take the reaction away, and the habit will end. I settle for as authentic with an in the previous poster that there ought to be no nutrients indoors the mattress room. Insist that nutrients retains to be on the table.
