clean it, use hydrogen peroxide on it, the put some neosporin with aloe- unless your alergic to that stuff and cover it with a band aid. After a few days to a week after the neosporin has absorbed into the wound, take off the band aid and let air get to it.

How bad is the cut? How deep? How did you cut it? These are important questions, because you don't want to get a bad infection, trust me. If it is a bad cut, and you have not had a tetnus shot in more than 10 yrs, you could be in for serious trouble, like blood poisoning, or even worse lock-jaw. You need to apply hydrogen peroxide to the cut, and then some antibiotic cream. If this doesn't seem to help, you better go to the doctor. There are people who ignore a bad cut, and the next thing you know, they have blood poisoning, and lose a limb or worse their life. Don't wait to long, if you do the peroxide and antibiotic cream, you should see a difference over night., if not don't walk, """"RUN"" to the emergency room.

I use a cream called "Polysporin" - then I cover it with gauze and bandages.. make sure the cut is as clean as possible first though. Besides alcohol, you might also want to try some iodine - it'll sting like a B but it helps with the infection.

clean the wound with salt water where you can prepare this at home and its very cheap and effective, then apply some antiseptic cream. Try cleaning the wound atleast twice a day, morning and night.

wash it with cold water-dry it- wipe with a sterilised cotton ball soaked in methylated spirits- if u have it also wipe with iodine- then put a bandaid and keep it there till the wound closes (replace if necessary) and when its closed remove the bandaid to allow the air to get to it
