You can create children without him and her as long as you have the proper parts. Isn't science wonderful?

If you're making a satire of Christian religion as opposed to, say, wicca, the arguement doesn't work: since the Christian god is omnipotent, he can do anything, including giving birth. If that's the case, he could easily be called goddess as well as god, but apparently for some reason he prefers to be called god.

Anyway, I'm agnostic, so I don't believe, but I don't disbelieve. Personally the concept of a sentient creator isn't first on my list to believe.

I believe that its a possibility that God is a woman... I mean if he was a male, why would he spend his time creating something beautiful like the earth? Wouldn't he rather be chasing around the female angels, hanging out with his buddy angels or watching some kind of sporting event in heaven??

I do believe. But I think its interesting that you are assuming that everyone SHOULD believe in Goddess. I don't think that the Goddess is for everyone. Some can't handle Her, I'm sure. ;)

Come on now don't you know God exists outside this world of opposites beyond time itself it is us that exist in a world of opposites good bad past and future. That's what the Garden metaphor was all about. they ate the apple and everything started in our temporal plane with Black ,whites, shades, time male, female. God exists beyond that. Beyond our ability to understand with our lobed brains. But if putting a female mask on the incomprehensible helps you then Go ahead and use it as a ferry to the other shore.

I believe in Goddess, one reason for this is that I have read the Bible.
For those of you who find this difficult to comprehend, try actually READING it. Not just listening to others tell you what they wish it said.

In the heavens are parents single?
No the thought makes reason stare!
Truth is reason; truth eternal
Tells me I've a mother there.

I believe we have a set of heavenly parents. Since God and Jesus have their names cursed and taken in vain, I think that it is best to just 'know'.

God has no sex. He is refered to as Him and He and such because it was men who wrote the Bible. And to Jonny, what the Bible means when we were created in God's image was that we all have a spritiual part in us called a soul, which is in God's image. Not out looks or sex.
