There doesn't have to be. Sometimes, it can depend on your age, metabolism, and what you're actually eating...some people can eat frequently but they don't eat a lot of calories overall throughout the course of a day.

You might want to watch out for bulimic behavior if it's a friend or relative you're concerned about...that includes leaving the table after meals, vomitting, concern about weight gain, or excessive exercise.

It's interesting that you also asked a question about gaining a lot of weight in just 2 months. So I'll answer both questions a little differently.

You don't mention how old you are, but if you are growing, you might be simply burning lots of calories. That is the most probable answer. It could be because of a metabolism problem, like a thyroid disorder. But that's really rare.

If you find that you are losing weight even though you are eating a lot, see a doctor. But otherwise, take it as a sign that your body is maturing, and needs the extra energy.

Not necessarily, they may just have a high metabolic rate. My son is like that. The amount of food he puts away is ridiculous but he doesn't gain weight. He's also very active.

Not usually, you could have a tape worm if you aren't getting any of your nutrients and are basically just overall feeling sick and malnutriented. But if not you just have a fast metalbolism and thats a really good thing. So don't worry you have nothing to fear and keep on eating :o)

Not necessarily. They may have a high metabolish, or exercise regularly. Weight gain has to do with calories. How much intake, and how much is burned. If you burn equal or more than you intake, then you don't gain weight.

There might be and there might not be. You may have very high metabolism. My daughter eats constantly and never gains an ounce.

I think it depends on what you're eating. If it's a lot of friut, vegetables and whole grains and you're fairly active, then it's probably normal. If not, or especially if you're losing weight, i'd suggest you have your blood sugar checked, it could be a symptom of diabetes.

You probably have a very high working metabolism. Eating lots of food won't hurt if you have good metabolism. It safely breaks down all of that food and so it can safely exit your body. No need to worry :)

Not necessarily. Some people just have a very good metabolism.
