I am shooping for a new car and have narrowed it down to the 06 Eclipse and the 06 Tiburon. Anyone have any suggestions on which one would be better? Which one seems like it's made with the better materials, and has the best features for the money? Any input would help, thanks..

Between the two I'd definitely choose the Eclipse. Mitsubishi strikes me as being not only a brand with higher quality but also with higher resale value than Hyundai. Add the fact that the 2006 Eclipse's design is killer and well you've got yourself a clear winner.

I say go for the Eclipse. It's got a more unique design and has a decent engine under the hood. The Tiburon is all over the place, you see so many on the road. From an aesthetics point of view, the Eclipse should win hands down. The Tiburon tries to copy the Ferrari 360 in some departments.

I have a 2002 Eclipse and it has been a great car- still handles the road like the day i bought it and not a lick of problems. I have over 100,000 miles on it too. I would suggest the 5 speed because some of the automatics had problems- but that was 4 years ago so I'm sure they got the "bugs" worked out. I haven't met one person yet that has a Tiburon with that many miles.

eclipse, i've owned a 1997 eclipse gsx and now a 1999 3000gt vr4. both are mitsubishi and have been the best road cars ive owned. hyundai has a good warranty but no resale value like an eclipse and are harder to service. also mitsubishi has more power if thats what your into and more luxery and sports preformance.

I think its made in Japan, much better than Tiburon...

Both those cars suck.
They're both made of plastic and glue, and the Hyundai is just butt ugly.
